I gave it that title because you can see the incredible textures on his ears and face. It also represents the textures of the place the elephant was in: surrounded by dry, cracked earth. Similarities can be found in these textures of the elephant and its surroundings. What I really love about this image is that he’s incredibly calm and gentle. I wasn’t too far from him and by remaining calm and not showing any fear or anger I was able to take this images.
