Bestiary of a Wild World

Orléans France

No artist has been successful until he or she has exhibited in France where the critical eye of composition and form is inherited not taught, absorbed like the slightest taste of terroir on a grape from Burgundy. No filmmaker can feel as fulfilling as seeing a line of people around the block at the Rex Cinema in Paris waiting to see their film, or an artist looking at the critical French exhibition goers, but waiting on their silent nod of approval.
